Childrens bedrooms, Bathroom and Guest room
Many of today’s homes are designed to offer larger rooms for
children thus allowing them to use the space as activity areas. The
trend has been to evolve the bedroom from a place that was reserved
for sleeping alone into smaller versions of the master suite we
The rooms often allow for a walk-in closet and a shared bath. They are
no longer necessarily small boxy rooms with a common bath in the
hallway. They can now offer separate private vanities with a common
bath area. This “Jack and Jill” concept is particularly ideal for
families with both a girl and a boy.
Another feature that is gaining popularity is: Kid’s den, Game room
and private study incorporated into what used to be a guest bedroom.
This allows the children their own common area to work and play while
a pullout bed can easily accommodate the occasional guest.
